Not only as a historical document, per se, but it's intensely interesting to see how human beings develop, how their mental and motor abilities expand with time. I wish there were more vintage films like this.

Film about a lawsuit just waiting to happen, about two boys, one which is allowed to get a lot of physical activity, and the other kid kept in the crib and not let out of the crib. These kids are twins, and it's really troubling to realize that there were mothers willing to sell their kids (cough Dionne quints) for exploitive needs. Oh sure, the results are interesting, but this film just gave me the chills watching it. One of the kid is a little more motor-skilled than the other it's soon realized, the science community cheers! But look who suffers.
